It was created in a rented corner of a bodega with a production of 6,000 bottles. Years later it scored a rating of 95 points from wine writer Robert Parker. The venture then moved from this rented space to an old watermill where the three friends, Javier Ajenjo, José Luís Simón and Julio César Conde developed their unique way of making and selling wine.
