El Porvenir Laborum Single Vineyard Late Harvest Torrontés 2011

Grape Variety: Torrontés 100%
Tasting Notes: Elegant and bright yellow colour with gold tones. It presents a good fresh aromatic character, with notes of peach and quince combined with honey and a secondary aroma of toast and vanilla from the oak barrels. Excellent structure and well-balanced mouth feel with nice acidity. Fresh, with a well-integrated and elegant sweetness. 

VineyardLocated in Finca El Retiro, Cafayate, Salta, Argentina.
Age of the Vineyard: 45 years old vines
Time of Harvest: Last week of May.
Altitude: 1,750 metres above sea level

Harvest Method: Hand-picked
Winemaking: Fermentation with selected yeast, between 13°C and 15°C for 25 days in first use oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation. Aged for 4-5 months in French oak barrels.
