Food Matching: ideal choice to serve with all types of cheese, cold meat and pasta.

Grape Variety: tannat 100%

Tasting notes: Intense and brilliant red color. In the nose, red berry fruits such as cherries and raspberries are evident. Delicate oak notes and a long complex spicy palate result in an elegant Tannat character. Persistent, fills your mouth with velvety tannins.

Region: Las Violetas, Canelones, Uruguay.

The vineyard: Climate: Cool climate influenced by the River Plate and the Atlantic Ocean.

Soil: Clay soils with calcareous presence and medium levels of organic matter.

Harvest Method: Hand picked and transported in small cases of 17 kg. Yield: 85 hl/Ha.

Viticulture & Winemaking: These Tannat grapes are vinified with a short maceration of 5 days and subsequently aged for 9 months in oak barrels of second use in order to show its typicity and intensity.

Alcohol: 13% vol.

Volume: 750ml

Residual Sugar:  1.4 gr/ litre
